Bought an apartment before the building was finished. Some months later, they gave a date to make the hand over of the apartment. My family and I went there and accepted that it was alright. Now, be careful here.👇 They asked us to leave a copy of the key just incase there was an emergency and needed to come in. As foreigners we accepted that. Why? Good question. Knowing that we might not be in Istanbul if something could've gone wrong. So we trusted them when we should not have. Months later we came to check the apartment, unfortunately, we found a number of unpleasant surprises awaiting us. All of the internal doors were gone, the toilet fixtures were all not there. Both AC units missing. So much so that even a number of the door frames, were taken off. Clearly the apartment was used as a suply store of spare parts for other apartments. When complained to the builders, they showed us the signed copy of the hand over and things were fine when that took place.

People don't speak English. Double standards for Turks and foreigners. All financial statements are in Turkish some small notes in English. Maintenance either delayed or not fix problems. Using amenities again for foreigners are very restricted whereas for turk is relaxed. Everone in management board is turk. They said turn key but as soon as they give the key no more service or anything on the warranties they don't fix it until expires and you have to pay from your pocket. The don't care about your complains and brush them off. In summary what they promise, wont happen
